The fixed ad unit concept is suitable for advertising networks

Once per rotation of this cycle, the advertiser's video will be shown. Part of the airtime in the advertising block is not filled with advertising, but something needs to be shown during this time. Free time is occupied by non-advertising content - fillers. Fillers can be social content, weather, traffic jams, exchange rates.
The described cycle is called an advertising block. The concept of an advertising block guarantees the frequency of advertising displays. If the advertising block is 300 seconds, then each commercial is guaranteed to be broadcast once every 300 seconds, even if there is no other advertising in the block. The rest of the time, fillers will be broadcast.
If commercial advertising appears in the block, it automatically displaces fillers.

The system analyzes the load of each player/screen and will not allow advertising to be published on screens that have no free airtime left. The block length limits excessive publication and does not allow the advertiser's guaranteed frequency of impressions to be reduced.

This functionality allows you to add additional content units to the current broadcast with their own output algorithm and their own “life” period. After the time has elapsed, it is removed from the playlist without affecting the main broadcast.
This functionality, unlike advertising, also allows you to divide playlists into local and federal. This is necessary for corporate customers with several divisions. It is also possible not only to replace content as in the case of an advertising personal account, but also to launch it at a certain time, or between the content of the main broadcast.
